Winston O. R. Worrell is an experienced evangelist, lecturer, administrator, pastor and preacher in multicultural and multilingual settings worldwide. He is a retired director of the World Methodist Evangelism Institute (WMEI), a ministry of the World Evangelism of the World Methodist Council and Candler School of Theology at Emory University. For 25 years, Winston served WMEI, organizing and teaching in evangelism training seminars worldwide, experiencing evangelism in a multiplicity of contexts, learning faith-sharing methodologies and seeing persons come to Christ around the world.

At the 2017 North Georgia Annual Conference, Winston was approved as a General Evangelist in the United Methodist Church, approved to serve the entire Wesleyan family. In addition to his availability to preach across the USA, he now runs his own organization, REFRESH YOUR WITNESS MINISTRIES, serving as consultant or coach to conferences, districts, pastors, leadership teams and congregations, focusing largely on rediscovering practical faith-sharing. Winston’s studies in evangelism and media communications, as well as his ministry in over 50 countries, have prepared him for this new mission for Christ Jesus.

Winston has also served in pastoral positions in the USA and the Caribbean, and for two decades has taught Course of Study classes for local pastors. He is a clergy member of the North Georgia Conference, former President of the Academy for Evangelism in Theological Education (AETE), and is currently on the executive team of the National Association of United Methodist Evangelists (NAUME).
